We are pleased to offer a full time role (37 hours per week) within the Representation team. As Democracy and Governance Coordinator, you will facilitate and support The Students’ Union democratic functions including Elections, Student Ideas, Student Council and the Executive. A great opportunity to work with student leaders and provide the admin function behind them.
Democracy and Governance Coordinator
Purpose of the Post
The position shares with all other staff positions a general purpose to work collectively for the attainment of the goals of The Students’ Union at UWE as expressed in the Constitution, Policy Book, and Strategic Plan and through the decisions of its committees.

Key Working Relationships: The post holder will liaise with a range of colleagues within The Students’ Union and UWE Bristol, including Academic Staff, Heads of Department and Associate Deans from the faculties as well as central service teams as appropriate.

Rate of Pay: £ 20,944 per annum, pro rata
Grade: 3.1
Hours per Week: 37 hours per week over 5 days
Duration: 2 Year Fixed term (End of May 2023)
Location: Based at Frenchay Campus. The post holder may be required to work at, or from any UWE Bristol campus or Union Establishment.
