The Students’ Union at UWE is looking for a Graphic Designer to join its dynamic Marketing Team!
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Marketing Team at The Students’ Union.
As our Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in the development and use of The Students’ Union visual identity and its sub-brands, as well as leading on the design work of The Students’ Union.
You will work closely with the Marketing Team and internal clients to plan and implement a range of creative campaigns, from Welcome to The Student Elections. This will include co-ordinating the production of publications, managing our relationship with external printers and overseeing the full design to print process.
As the successful candidate, you will be a creative thinker and full of fresh ideas regarding how we can incorporate the latest design trends into campaign artwork. You will also be skilled in working in both print and digital formats using the Adobe Creative Suite of applications and other software.
You will have a can-do attitude with a drive and enthusiasm for graphic design and marketing. You’ll also be able to understand and meet clients’ needs, as well as working to tight deadlines, budgets and brand guidelines. We’re looking for someone with a high standard of education, who has previous experience of working in a similar role.

Rate of Pay: £26,979
Grade: 4.1
Holiday Entitlement: 27 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Closure Days (Including Christmas & Easter)!
Hours per Week: 37 Hours per week, working 5 days out of 7
Duration: Permanent
Location: Frenchay campus but the postholder will be required to work from any of our sites (City Campus and Glenside Campus).
