We are hiring for an individual looking to gain a generalist understanding of a HR function to join our Team as our HR & Employment Coordinator on a Fixed Term basis to support 1 year Maternity Cover.

Overview of the Organisation
The Students' Union at UWE are a Part-Commercial, Part-Charitable Organisation providing services and support to the 33,000 students making up the UWE Bristol Student Community.
We are a completely separate organisation to UWE Bristol.
The organisation is made up of around 80 permanent staff and up to 250 casual (usually student) staff.
Departments and services are varied including our on-Campus Nursery, our Commercial Services provision (shops and food outlets), our front of house Buildings team, our Engagement provision (including Advice, Opportunities, Representation and Community) and our admin teams (HR, Finance, Marketing and IT).

Rate of Pay: £27,249
Holiday Entitlement: 27 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Closure days (pro rata)
Hours per Week: 37 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7
Duration: FIXED TERM MATERNITY COVER - 20/10/2025 - 01/12/2026
Location: Based at Frenchay Campus. The postholder will be required to work at, or from any of The Students’ Union at UWE’s establishments (Frenchay, Glenside and Bower).
