The Students’ Union Advice Centre at UWE is a successful, award winning, independent advice service for the 27000+ students of the University of the West of England in Bristol. We are proud to hold the Advice Quality Standard.
Part of the Representation Team, we provide advice, guidance, information and support to students on issues such as Academic, Housing and Employment. We also work with elected Student Officers to inform proactive preventative campaigns on issues that affect students such as finding accommodation and stress during their studies.
We are looking for a proactive team player with excellent communication, research, casework and networking skills, that enjoys working with a diverse range of people. We are a dedicated team that works to deadlines and works within a confidential setting and are looking for someone who is willing to do the same.
The successful applicant will have at least one year’s experience in the advice sector, preferably with experience of working with students or young people and be an approachable individual, capable of assisting in the promotion and enhancement of this busy service.

Hours: 22.5 hours over 3 days; one of which will be Fridays
