This year UWE Students voted in favour of the SU banning payday loan advertising. Now we need your help to run a stall at our Freshers' Fair to make students better aware of the dangers of taking out these high-interest ‘payday’ loans and to give out advice on where students can go for financial help. 

 

You don’t need any prior knowledge – you’ll receive training in the issues and in campaigning techniques, allowing you to develop useful skills and techniques. You just need to be passionate and good at communicating. You’ll also get the opportunity to wear our shark costume for the day!

 

This is a one off opportunity, but there is the potential for you to continue the campaign throughout the year if you wish to.
