We are incredibly proud to announce that The Students’ Union’s Halley Nursery has achieved a Good rating following the inspection in May.

The nursery provides childcare and education for the children of students, staff and the local community. It provides 62 places all year round in a spacious, purpose built nursery with a fantastic large garden and special events throughout the year including a teddy bear’s picnic, an Easter egg hunt and trips to local farms and the zoo.

According to the Ofsted report, “staff use every opportunity to encourage communication and language skills” and “children thrive in the consistent praise from staff, which helps to build their self-esteem and confidence.”

Congratulations to all nursery staff who worked so hard to achieve this result.
