The Lead Department Rep for Health and Social Sciences, Megan Glynne, has secured a trial for free vegan milk to be available to all students at Onezone on Frenchay Campus.
Megan attended a Depertmental Committee meeting at the end of last year, where concerns were raised over the lack of accessible and available vegan milk options in Onezone. Although vegan options were always available on request, students felt it should be more accessible.
Having got in touch with the Executive Chef at Onezone, it was agreed with Megan that they would trial a free pour flask of vegan milk besides the coffee machines with a view to it becoming a permanent fixture subject to demand.
Megan commented: "This is really exciting, and hopefully the beginning of a snowball movement to improve vegan variety across our campuses."
