Fancy a trip to the magical market that has been set up for the holidays in Broadmead? Join your fellow students who are staying on campus for the holidays in a jolly to the city centre. Meet the activity leaders at 10:00 by the coffee kiosk at the bus stops on Frenchay Campus on December 22.
Join other students who are staying on campus for the Winter break in a carol singing service around the Christmas tree outside X block from 16:30 before finishing off the night with movie night in the Dartington Suite in Wallscourt Farmhouse on Frenchay Campus on December 22.
What’s the best way of spreading Christmas cheer? Singing loud for all to hear and watching Elf of course! Head to Millennium Square on December 23 and have a break from their Winter Fair, full of fun stalls, an ice rink, and a big wheel, and sit down to watch a film on the Big Screen! Immerse yourself in a film this December 23 with The Passenger Shed who are showing some real classics all day long, from Home Alone, to The Nightmare Before Christmas, to Love Actually, there’s a feel good festive film with your name on it! Buy your tickets here.
Continuing the festive fun, we have a board games night happening in The Students’ Union at UWE on December 23 from 18:00 – 21:00, however, if you’re more likely to flip over the Monopoly board (We’ve all been there!) than anything, there is also a movie night happening at Wallscourt Farmhouse between 19:00 and 21:00!
At Cribbs Causeway this year, you’ll find the largest outdoor ice rink in the South West, Santa’s Enchanted Ice Castle, and a host of different stalls full of festive treats to warm you back up! Book your tickets until January 6 here.
You can go and see the classic fairy-tale pantomime, Cinderella, starring Brian Conley and Gok Wan, at the Hippodrome until January 6. Tickets start from £12 and is a guaranteed fun filled night out full of laughs, an incredible cast, festive vibes, and a ‘She’s behind you!’.
