The Students’ Union at UWE are delighted to announce an Official Partnership with Bournemouth 7s Festival, The Worlds Largest Sporting and Music Festival.

Since it’s establishment in 2008, Bournemouth 7s has grown from a small southern event catering for around 8000 attendants, to a world leading sporting and music festival, which again will take place over the Late May Bank Holiday Weekend (27^th, 28^th & 29^th May 2016).

Named as the Sporting Glastonbury, the festival attracts more than 30,000 people to Bournemouth for the prestigious event, which accommodates in excess of 400 teams and 5000 sporting individuals playing across Rugby, Netball, Dodgeball and Hockey.

Bournemouth 7s Managing Director, Sophie Christy commented, “We are very pleased to agree a fantastic official partnership with The Students’ Union at UWE. Previous years have seen many UWE students attend Bournemouth 7s and hopefully with this fantastic offer, we can look to see more than ever before attend next years event”.
