Find out what you need to do if you need to submit an Extenuating Circumstances form before the exam boards.
Students should make extenuating circumstances applications in advance of an assessment. However, if the circumstances make this impossible, the submission must be made as close as possible to the deadline of the affected assessment(s).
There are also final deadline dates for the submission of extenuating circumstances and these have now been published for the 2014 examining boards. Final deadlines are needed in order to allow time for applications to be considered before the meetings.
These dates fall on the last Friday before each of the main examining board periods begin and are as follows:
>> For more information please see the extenuating circumstances webpages.
N.B. For students studying at international partner institutions where these regulations apply, their local administration offices will be able to provide the final deadline information prior to each examining board period.
