This guide has been created by our Sustainability Officer and students from the Sustainability Committee. It has been made by students for students, to share tips for living more consciously and sustainably. It has been produced to mark The Students' Union's 50th birthday and to showcase how important furthering education of sustainable development and empowering our students to take action on building a better world for all is to your Students' Union.
The Sustainability Committee is an opportunity for students who are passionate about sustainability to innovate and have the power to create positive change throughout UWE and beyond.
As a student-led committee, they decided to put together a sustainable living guide for students, sharing their own own experiences, products we love, tips and tricks and so much more.
The Sustainability Committee has covered various aspects of university life. From Sustainability on a budget, fast fashion and health products all the way through to green energy, transport and growing your own food.
We hope this guide helps you explore how you can live more consciously and sustainably in your new community.
