That's right - we're moving in spring 2026. This is largeley due to the building's condition and age. The move will put us right in the centre of campus, providing all of The Students' Union services you love, right where you need them.
We will be closing on the 6 April for Easter and are planning to open the new space at the beginning of May.
We are keeping all your favourite services including the Advice Centre, the Bring Your Own Cup station, the Community Larder, the Nintendo Switch and an improved Uniform Swap Shop!
Our mission stays the same: supporting you with anything you need. This move simply puts us in a better position to do that.
There may be a short window where we're still getting everything in order, but don't worry, we will have pop ups in the Hub on the 20 April, 22 April and 27 April! So you won't be without your Students' Union.

In terms of the build, we've been busy behind the scenes; choosing paint; finalising layouts and ordering furniture! You may have seen us sizing up the new space for artworks and vinyls.
