UWE race against King's College, Queensland (Australia) in the first round of the Regatta.
On Wednesday 1st July, The UWE Men's Senior 8+ crew take part in the first round of the Henley Royal Regatta, held on the River Thames.
The team won the Men’s Intermediate 2 cat 8’s at Reading Amateur Regatta on 13-14 June 2015. Reading is one of the key preparation events for Henley Royal Regatta; the UWE crew defeated Manchester University by 1 length, recording a time of 4.31m and as a result automatically qualified for Henley, one of only seven Universities to do so.
The UWE crew have been drawn against King's College, Queensland (Australia) in the first round, and are racing on the 1st July at 11:30am. The race can be watched live online.
