Reasons why you should VOTE in The Leadership Race!

The manifestos are out, the candidates are ready, and it’s now time for you to VOTE and get involved with The Leadership Race. It is really important that you have your say and vote in the race, so important in fact, that we’ve come up with a list of all of the reasons why you should.

It will have an impact on the student community

The people you vote in will be responsible for representing the student voice and bringing about change, so really, you should vote and make sure you are supporting individuals with similar ideas to you.

Your time at UWE Bristol is important

Your University experience is a big life milestone, and during this time, it’s important that you are getting the most out of it. It’s therefore key that you have officers who aim to make a positive change during your time here.

It’s a chance to bag some freebies

To reward you for getting involved and voting, on Tuesday 3 March The Students’ Union will be offering half-price food in Union 2, Frenchay Campus and on Thursday 5 March at Glenside and Bower.

All you need to do is show us that you have voted. At different points around campuses, there will also be staff giving out a creme egg to every student who votes there and then!

It’s all relevant!

You can vote for your next President, VP Societies and Communications, VP Education, VP Community and Welfare, and VP Sports and Health. Whatever your priority as a student, one of these positions will benefit and support you, so it’s important the person in that role is the one you want!

It's your right

It’s your right, it’s your University, so VOTE and get involved!
