The Safe Space is another part of the network of people looking out for Bristol's night-time community. Delivered by Bristol BID and Avon & Somerset Police, the service connects with organisations including Hope Against Suicide, Street Pastors and city centre businesses.
It's about venues, businesses, support organisations and partners working together to help everyone have a better night in Bristol.
Bristol has a brilliant nightlife, and the Safe Space is about adding another layer of support for the people enjoying it. It's somewhere you can drop into before a small problem becomes a bigger one, whether that's getting your phone charged so you can find your friends, sorting out sore feet, having somewhere to wait for a taxi or getting help when you're not feeling quite right.
If you need more specialist support, the team can also help connect you with the right service. Bristol Safe Space at Night isn't an emergency medical service. If someone is seriously ill, injured or in immediate danger, always contact the appropriate emergency service.
