    WHAT’S ON AT CITY CAMPUS

    Regular Activity at Bower Ashton put on by your Students' Union!

    There is a programme of regular events happening down at The Students' Union Bower Ashton!

    These include, a regular Thursday lunch time crafty session run by Jane our Community Projects Coordinator based down at Bower.  If you would be added to the mailing list to find out what is happening each Thursday email subower@uwe.ac.uk to be added to the list.

    Activities this year have included, Pizza making, Pottery painting, Wreath making, Embroidery, Crochet, air dry clay, collage, pop up skate park meet the dogs event, badge making, DJ workshops, Switch tournaments and much more.

    15th September noon - 2pm

    Come meet the dogs from Bristol's Charity Dawg.

    Marbling workshop at Bower
    21st September noon - 2pm
    A block shared space -Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road Bristol BS3 2JT.
    Charise from Creatopia will be running this workshop - learn the history of this amazing art form, and how to create incredible patterns using traditional marbling techniques.

    Nature walk and Picnic at Bower

    Come and join in with a relaxed walk and picnic over in Ashton Court.

    Pizza Making at Bower
    23rd September noon - 1pm

    We have UWE's own Pizza expert Del Vecchios Pizza and his oven coming to Bower so you can try out the relaxing art of pizza making, we'll have delicious toppings to choose from (including Vegan)

    Pottery Painting at Bower
    24th September noon - 2pm
    A block shared space -Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road Bristol BS3 2JT.
    Come and paint some pottery, once painted we will be sending them to Trylla Ceramics studio to fire in their kiln, we will collect once fired so you must be available to collect your finished piece 2 weeks later from the SU info desk at Bower.

    Willow weaving with Birch Collective at Bower
    25th September 12:30pm - 2:30pm
    A block shared space -Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road Bristol BS3 2JT.
    Birch Collective are coming to show us the ancient art of Willow Weaving, make something quick and easy like a bird, heart or a star, or stay longer to make something more complicated.

    Come to the SU cafe area for a Mario Kart Switch tournament and the Wall of Crisps to keep you going. .

    DJ workshop with Elley Phunk at Bower
    16th October noon - 2pm
    Students' Union Cafe and Bar-Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road Bristol BS3 2JT.
    Become empowered through DJ workshops. This session run by DJ Elley Phunk is designed to increase confidence in using contemporary and relatable sound equipment, whilst providing the power to connect people through the enjoyment of music.
