    About Dance


    UWE Dance invites all students, no matter what age or ability to join us! We compete in 7 different catergories across 6 dance styles, which include: Intermediate and Advanced Hip Hop, Intermediate Ballet, Advanced Contemporary, Intermediate Jazz, Intermediate Commercial and Intermediate Tap and proudly represent UWE at 3 national competitions every year. We also offer a variety of mixed styled classes within our recreational membership.
    All of our members are invited to all our socials and events, whether it be a Wednesday sports night, BBQs, Rounders games, trips to the cinema, as well as getting dressed up to attend Sports Awards!
    Whether you are looking to just have fun learning new dances, compete with us, or just make new friends, UWE Dance has something for everyone!

    Membership Information

     

    Recreational PTT

    PTT stands for Performance, Technique, and Training. This recreational membership gives you access to all our PTT classes for the whole academic year as well as the opportunity to perform at our annual showcase.

     

    Squad Memberships

    Squad memberships start at the price of £130 with an additional £10 for each squad joined thereafter. This membership covers competition costs such as entry fees, transport, costumes, and accomodation for our overnight competition. Squad memberships also give you access to our recreational PTT memberships - you do not have to purchase the recreational membership alongside squad memberships.

     

    *All memberships must be purchased alongside the one-time UWE Sports Fee. If you are already member of another sports club, you will not have to purchase this fee again.

    *All memberships include a Team UWE t-shirt.
