    Festive Semi-Formal

    IMPORTANT - Submit documents in JPG or PDF for the exhibition to celebrate your work with fellow students.
    A3, resolution between 200-300PPI. No limit to the number of submissions. Add your name to the bottom right corner.

    Venue information

    Venue – Loko Club Bristol, Clock Tower Yd, Under stone archway, Bristol BS1 6QH

    • Bay 1 – Bar, seating/networking/Exhibition area
    • Bay 2 – Main Music and Dance room

    Date and Time: December 7th between 7:30pm and 1:30am

    Attire: Festive Semi Formal (Relaxed formal style, shirts and blazers vibe with jeans/chinos or simple dress etc)

    Tickets & Entry

    For this event there are 4 types of ticket available:

    • £15 – Guest Ticket (no membership required)
    • £12 – BES Society Member
    • £12 – Architecture Society Member
    • £8 – member of both BES and Architecture

    Tickets sales are live from now until December 5th 12:00 at https://www.thestudentsunion.co.uk/soc/bes/ and https://www.thestudentsunion.co.uk/soc/uwearchsociety/

    There may be a limited number of tickets on the door however these will be full price (£15) so we heavily recommend buying now to avoid disappointment! 

    2 committee will be posted at the door from 7pm-11pm to check attendees memberships correspond to their tickets,

    What's included?

    DJ Hanz – one of the South-West's hottest DJ's, with a reputation that's got him spinning his magic in clubs and bars across the UK. From funk disco and hip hop to RnB and classic tunes, DJ Hanz smashes it every time with his wicked sets and unique urban floor-filler vibes.

    Photography – The intention is for a small area, festively decorated with props where attendees can have a photo taken to commemorate the event – 2 members of UWE Photography Society will attend and document the event with one manning this station while the other roams the event getting pics in action!

    Exhibition – Located in the bar area, Come and check out the work of your fellow students! (contact Kiana at uwearchsociety@outlook.com if interested in showcasing some work)

    Safety Notice

    The floor of the venue is cobbled which will pass a slight health and safety risk to anyone wearing heals, particularly after a few drinks, therefore while the event is semi-formal please bear this in mind when putting together your outfits and bring a pair of flats where possible
