Caught short baskets and locations

Did you know, The Students' Union in collaboration with UWE provides free organic disposable menstrual products in all our toilets as well as around the campus sites.

Click here for a full list of locations that have free period products for when you're caught short.

Each basket contains a mix of tampons, regular pads and pantyliners from NatraCare. The products are made from renewable, biodegradable and compostable materials making them free from plastic, chlorine and dyes and perfume. You can learn more about NatraCare and why we use them here.

Other ways to access free period products

You can attend one of our 'Period Stalls' which occur on a monthly basis in term time at Frenchay, Glenside and Bower Ashton Campus. The stalls offer you the chance to stock up on NatraCare disposable period products, learn about having a sustainable period and sign up to our Sustainable Period Product Trial. Head to our 'What's On' page to see when our next stall is taking place.

If you need products in between stalls you can also find them by reception in The Students' Union at Frenchay Campus, in the Community Corner at Bower Ashton and in the main space at Glenside Students' Union.

If you need advice or support accessing period products, you can contact the SU Advice Centre or UWE's Student Money Service and they will be able to help.
