Commercial Services Supervisor

We are looking for a Full Time Commercial Services Supervisor to join our trading operation here at The Students' Union at UWE, supervising the day-to-day operation and acting as Duty Manager as and when required.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Services Director, duties and responsibilities will include recruitment, training, and management of staff, serving customers, placing orders, assisting in the review and implementation of service and quality standards, and helping to ensure we deliver excellent customer service across all of our outlets.

Our outlets include retail shops, a bakery, bar, kitchen and a barista service across two UWE Bristol campus sites (Frenchay and Bower Ashton).

This position will be required to be cross trained across all of our commercial areas and will work across both campus locations as required (Frenchay and Bower Ashton).

Grade: 4.1

Rate of Pay: £28,623 

Duration of Role: Permanent 

Hours per Week: 37 hours per week 

*Please note that in line with the working time regulations, no current student applications will be considered for this position due to it being a full time, 37 hour per week position. 

*The position will work irregular hours involving early mornings, late night, evening and weekend working.

Holiday: 27 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Closure Days (Pro rata)! 

Location: Based at Frenchay and Bower Ashton Campuses, Bristol.
