Student Stories: Zarabel Turgut-Cox
Name? Zarabel Turgut-Cox.
Where are you from? London.
What course are you studying? Business Management and Marketing.
SU Credentials?
Why did you get involved? Because The Students' Union offers so many opportunities.
What do you love about being part of The Students’ Union? The Students’ Union is full of the most amazing and supportive people who have helped me grow both personally and professionally. They have taught me skills that have helped me at uni and will continue to support me through my future career. They are very understanding of student life and worked around my uni schedule and assignments always prioritising my wellbeing.
Top tip? My tip for other students would be to get involved with the SU as much as they can in any way possible, whether that’s through working with them, taking on an Officer role, becoming a Rep, or just using the services they provide and attending events. It’s also a great way to meet new people and make friends. The SU is a safe and supportive environment that will help you in any way they can.
