• We launched our campaign End It Now in partnership with the University which aims to tackle all forms of abuse and harassment, check out the website and find out how you can get involved to End It Now.

• We are currently finding out from International Students what 101 things they wish they had known before coming to University so we can better support students here at Bristol and those thinking of coming to study here

• We are ensuring you are getting the best deal from housing. We have removed our agency fees from the Student Lettings and our Rent Smart campaign lets you know your rights and responsibilities when it comes to housing

• We celebrated Disabled History Month with a poster campaign celebrating the achievements of local and national celebrities who have a disability

• We marked International Transgender Day of Remembrance in partnership with the University by flying the Transgender Flag

• We got you through exams with our Be the Best Campaign, providing a bubble wrap walk, handing our fruit and providing top tips on handling exam and assessment stress, watch out for this campaign returning in 2016!

What are we looking forward to in the new year?

•  The End It Now Campaign are hosting a film screening of ‘The Hunting Ground’ followed by a panel debate

• The Be the Best Campaign round 2 with a puppy room!

• Providing leadership training to further develop our student leaders

• The launch of the nominations of the National Society Awards, an awards ceremony organised by The Students’ Union in partnership with the National Union of Students (NUS)

• The Accommodation Fair on the 26 January, The Students’ Union Frenchay campus 

• Attending the National Union of Students (NUS) annual conference and making sure UWE students voices are heard at a national level

• Beating the University of Bristol in this year’s Varsity series

• Seeing all the candidates for the Officer elections, who are you going to vote for?
