The Students' Union at UWE Community Team
Come and visit the new Students' Union Sensory Room at Bower Ashton!
The new Sensory Room can be found in 0C048.
Our sensory spaces campaign was started by our Trans Welfare Officer 24/25, and highlighted the student desire for a safe, sensory space availale to all students on Bower Ashton Campus.
You may have visted our temporary sensory space in the last academic year, where we asked students to provide us feedback including if they liked/used the space, what they found useful in the space and how we could improve it.
This feedback was taken back to the University, who offered us a new permenant room for this facility at Bower Ashton!
The sensory room includes:
Thank you to every student that provided us with feedback - you have helped to make this a permentant space!
If you have any feedback about the new space please write this down on our feedback board or email SUBower@UWE.ac.uk.
