An Idea is anything you think that The Students' Union should be doing. When submitting an Idea don’t use formal policy-making language. Keep it simple!
For an Idea to pass students need to vote in favour of it. To do this click on an Idea that takes your interest and you will be taken to its page where you can vote and comment on it.
When an Idea closes it will get scored out of 100 depending on the score it will either get a 1st, 2:1, 2:2 or fail.
If an Idea scores a 1st it gets an unconditional pass. 2:1s and 2:2s get conditional passes and will only officially pass after being discussed at a Student Council Meeting.
The Student Council Meeting discusses 2:1s and 2:2s to make sure that they are in the best interest of the student population. They can veto an Idea if they believe this isn't the case.
Once an Idea has passed The Students' Union will start working on it.
