Glenside campus should have a gym

Extra Information:

As healthcare students we promote a healthy lifestyle, we should be able to practice what we encourage.

There are a huge number of students who not only study here but live both at Glenside and at the Hollies with no access to exercise facilities.

12:25pm on 19 Mar 18 Absolutely - Glenside is persistently neglected and the wellbeing of students based there (as well as their sense of a UWE community) would be greatly improved with a campus. How ridiculous that Frenchay has 2 gyms and there isn't even a small provision for indoor exercise at Glenside.

7:09pm on 8 Mar 18 Awesome idea, exercise is a positive break and rest from work and is also a place to socialise especially if there are classes put on and meet people not just on your course.

2:21pm on 7 Mar 18 I currently use the Exercise4Less gym which is very cheap- but is also busy and hasn't got a lot of classes. So a facility on campus with classes or better equipped would be useful

7:39pm on 5 Mar 18 This is such a good idea!! Saves me from spending £100+ to drive to Frenchay to use the gym! Plus will encourage more people to access proposed gym! :)

7:56pm on 26 Feb 18 A gym on Glenside's campus is a brilliant idea! It would definitely encourage more of our healthcare students to engage in exercise.

4:41pm on 26 Feb 18 What a great idea. An allied healthcare campus WITHOUT a gym is crazy! Let's get a gym now.

3:26pm on 26 Feb 18 I completely agree. Frenchay gets a lot of investment in this sort of area. We may have less students here but we should still have access to a small gym in the same way we have an SU.
