Extra Information: The Arnolfini is valuable as one of the only study spaces in the city centre specifically designated for UWE students. By letting the space go unused, students living in the city centre are deprived of a nearby study space, meaning they have to travel further afield to an open campus - potentially increasing traffic and carbon emissions. Opening the Arnolfini on weekends to students who want to study increases study space and is consistent with sustainability goals.
