    Extra Information: There are period product dispensers all around campus bathrooms. I would like to see UWE Bristol commit to only stocking these dispensers with sustainable period products. This will contribute to achieving the United Nations' SUstainable Development Goals.

    Actions Taken

    • This idea opened for voting on December 1st 2020 and closes on 11th January 2021.

    • This Idea scored a 3rd which means it's not a priority for the time being.

    • The Executive agreed to give this Idea a conditional pass and Student Council subsequently agreed to pass the Idea. It will now go to the Trustee Board to be scuritinised. 

    • November 2021:This Idea is now Students’ Union policy and has been sent to The Executive for work to begin.
    • Janurary  2022: The Student's Union's VP Community and Welfare has had a meeting with UWE staff around both stocking period products and period poverty in general. Conversations are currently being had around funding. 
    • March 2023: The Students' Union has sucessfully lobbied UWE to only dispense plastic-free period products in campus toilets.
