the mats in the cfs are not the best, just getting them out and putting them away can eat up around 20+ minutes of a session and when the sessions are 1:30 each that can take up almost a 3rd of the session. They also tend to slip easily and not stay in place close together which can lead to risk of tripping or injuries (for example rolling an ankle). Getting better mats would benefit all the sports society’s who use them, by having a better place to train, less risk of injury and have more time to train instead of getting out and packing away the mats.

2:43am on 8 Nov 25 I last used the CFS two years ago and the mats were okay at the time. I’m not sure about their condition now, but improving them would be helpful for students.
