The Students’ Union at UWE to provide interview questions in advance for all candidates.

The Students' Union at UWE to provide interview questions in advance of the interview for all candidates, including those with disabilities as a reasonable adjustment when recruiting student staff. This is currently standard practice for UWE Bristol and the University of Bristol Students’ Union.  Putting the obvious benefits this has for Neurodivergent candidates aside, it also has a potentially huge benefit for all candidates.

Typically, candidates 'wing' their answers in interviews to a certain extent, especially if caught off guard. This often means you don't get their best responses.

By providing questions beforehand, you allow candidates to prepare, giving you a clearer picture of their capabilities and how they'll perform in the workplace.
