Introduce biodegradable and recyclable coffee cups on all campuses.

Use biodegradable and recyclable coffees cups in UWE and SU outlets on all campuses, instead of plastic based non-recyclable cups. With the recyclable packaging company Vegware located in Bristol, there's no excuse.

6:50pm on 20 Oct 16 There is a 20p discount available on all hot drinks if you bring in your own mug already (the SU doubled the discount from last year’s 10p). Also - Students are currently designing a Cup!

11:37pm on 14 Oct 16 Get money off a hot drink if you bring your own mug? Think the cups for cold drinks and all take away packaging should be compostable too! What about the packaging used by the take away van outside R-block and the other food/drink outlets on campus?

8:05pm on 11 Oct 16 I share your gripe with cup waste! However I think we should be promoting using reusable cups instead off any single use cup as many of the cups that are said to be recyclable will end up in landfill anyway. We could change people's behaviour with a discount on using a reusable cup and a charge on a single use one. Plus we could design a desirable green team cup.
