    Extra Information: At least one in four people will be affected by mental health issues in their lifetime. Mental health first aid is vital to being able to effectively manage mental health episodes and emergencies, particularly for health and social care workers of the future. E.g. Nurses working in acute settings will come across many different types of conditions and at the moment have to learn on the job which can be stressful and not comprehensive or evidence-based.
