Extra Information: With such a small percentage of recycling actually getting recycled, a continual production of single use plastics (8 million metric tons of which finds its way into our oceans annually), the importance of raising awareness around the topic, educating people to alternative solutions, and containing the single use plastics to make ecobricks is of great importance in attempting to reduce the quantity of plastic entering into the biosphere.
