4:10am on 12 Mar 20 Under the rules of both Visa and Mastercard, the SU (as the Merchant) should not be setting minimum or maximum transaction amounts. I also feel that the SU would be making a profit on every transaction, as card payment fees only cost around £0.15-£0.25 per transaction, and I would say all transactions are over that amount - the current £3 limit discourages students from spending in the shop.
