Extra Information: Bees in the UK are in decline and their presence is vital for all ecosystems. Green roof bus stops would give not just bees but many pollinators an opportunity to practice pollination and would hopefully see a rise in their numbers around campus. Not only are these bus stops great for bees but they also improve air quality, capture fine dust and store rainwater. As there are many buses constantly sat at the bus station, improving air quality in this area would be beneficial for student health. Green-roof bus stops are very low maintenance and therefore a positive for both bees and students.
