Extra Information:

Clear bins that display, cardboard, glass, tin and food waste sections are needed as it will reduce the amount of food waste and recyclable items going to landfill. Food waste is one of the main causes of greenhouse gas emissions therefore, if less is put in landfill it can be correctly disposed of and potentially be used as a renewable energy source. The UK is still not set to reach the 2020 recycling target therefore, the university can improve its recycling habits by providing more bins outside rather than just general waste bins.
