Extra Information:
I have been part of the UWE Christian Union for the last 4 years. In my first year I was the treasurer and found that creating tickets for our events was difficult due to VAT restrictions which added 20% to our ticket costs making tickets expensive for students. This meant we wouldn't have as many students to come along and have fun at our events such as weekend away. This also creates a barrier for engagement for those who want to come along on reduced funds.
Although this year most of our events are online I still find for both once things get better and also for future students this would be worth while.
Please support this idea to help societies all across UWE for years to come.

- This idea opened on 28th September 2020 and closed for voting on 30th October 2020.
- This idea has failed and will go to the next Executive for review.
