Extra Information: Provide the campus with a low-cost salad bar based either in the SU shop (which is currently full of processed goods) or the SU bar which goes unused on weekdays.

Utilise the SU's commitment to sustainability and supporting the local economy to provide Students and Staff alike with a healthy low cost alternative to current lunch time options.

All current substitutes to this proposition provide high salt and processed alternatives which are neither sustainably packaged nor locally sourced.

The profits could be used to invest in other SU activities or be donated to charity with students being able to work to man the salad bar to provide a personal service to each customer whilst overseeing the volume of goods being sold and also providing high-quality assurance.

Perhaps generate a survey or questionnaire for students and staff on campus to source interest in this proposition.
