Every year, World Mental Health Day falls on the 10th of October. Here at The Students’ Union at UWE, we want you to feel supported and have access to the services you may need. You can always drop in to any of buildings to receive advice and support and find the right help!
It is important for anyone going through any mental health issue, in any form or to whatever degree and for whatever reason, to note that you are beautiful, you are valued, and you are deserving of being treated with respect and dignity. You matter, your views and opinions matter, and you deserve to live your life without merely surviving but reaching your fullest potential.
If you are struggling and you ever find yourself needing someone to talk to, needing a safe space, needing someone who would listen with no judgments, the UWE Wellbeing Service and The Students’ Union Advice Centre are here for you. Please contact them and they will be happy to offer their support.
We hold regular events at The Student's Union that may have a particular benefit on your mental health and wellbeing depending on what works for you! Keep an eye out on our 'What's On' page Events (thestudentsunion.co.uk) to see all Students Union events and activities.
